Tarbosaurus

This dinosaur lived in humid floodplains crisscrossed by river channels. In this environment it was an apex predator -  at the top of food chain - preying on all other sizable creatures crossing its path, including other large dinosaurs.

Tarbosaurus was a large bipedal predator, similar to Tyrannosaurus. Although smaller than its more famous relative, Tarbosaurus was still one of the top heavyweights in the family of its fellow "tyrant lizards" - the largest known individuals were 10 - 12 m long, weighed 4 - 5 tons, and, last but not least, possessed huge jaws equipped with about sixty lethal teeth.
