Dinosaur pictures-Charonosaurus!

Charonosaurus (meaning "Charon's lizard") is the name of a genus of duck-billed dinosaurs that existed in the late Cretaceous period, around 70 million years ago. Its fossilized remains have been discovered on the banks of the Amur River, dividing China from Russia.

This prehistoric herbivorous animal was 10 m long, and weighed about 6 tons. It had a relatively small head with a large crest on top, a short neck and a huge clumsy body. It had some kind of lace ruffles below the neck, and its whole body, from head to tail, was topped with a prolonged jagged outgrowth similar to a saw-like crest. The gigantic creature moved on two pairs of three-fingered feet with three claws each.
