The Dinosaurs - Dinosaur Photos - Syntarsus (megapnosaurus)

The Dinosaurs - Dinosaur Photos - Syntarsus (megapnosaurus) - Walking with dinosaurs.

Syntarsus was a small, lightly-built dinosaur that walked on two long legs. This predator was about 3m long and weighed about 30kg. Syntarsus was a carnivore dinosaur.

It had light, hollow bones, a long, pointed head with dozens of small, serrated teeth, and a long neck.

Syntarsus (megapnosaurus) had large, four-fingered hands with sharp claws. Syntarsus had four-toed feet with fused ankle bones (these ankle bones were like those of early ornithopods although it was an early saurischian dinosaur - these ankle bones were what Syntarsus was named for).
